With decades of combined experience in counseling, chaplaincy, crisis support, nonprofit leadership, and international humanitarian engagement, Dr. Whippo offers a calm, thoughtful, and highly personalized approach to mental and emotional wellness.
Services are provided primarily through secure telehealth, allowing clients throughout Washington and approved jurisdictions to receive professional support from the privacy and comfort of their own environment.
Dr. Vance Whippo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Bellingham, Washington. His background includes counseling, chaplaincy, crisis intervention, humanitarian leadership, emergency response support, and international work across North America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. He integrates evidence‑informed counseling, psychological insight, and compassionate, practical support tailored to each person’s needs. Comprehensive Intake & Therapeutic Care Program — $2,000
This program includes:
Comprehensive diagnostic and personal history evaluation
Ten 50-minute counseling sessions
Individualized treatment planning
Ongoing support communication during active treatment as clinically appropriate
Following completion of the initial program, future treatment needs are reviewed collaboratively. Continued counseling services may be recommended, or referral to psychiatric and psychopharmacological providers may be advised when appropriate.
Services are private pay.
Telehealth services are the primary mode of treatment.
Limited in-person sessions in Bellingham may be available by arrangement.
